Janet developed some new face painting designs for the Aquarium of the lakes.
The theme is 'Night Time on the Riverbank'. This was to celebrate the new attraction in the Aquarium. Janet was busy for a whole week painting water voles, brown rats, bank voles, harvest mice and otters, which can all be seen at the Aquarium. Janet also painted bats and owls as these were part of other
activities going on. The brown rat has become particularly popular with boys and girls!
Janet was briefed to promote IAMS pet food as well as paint cats and dogs. Janet was very impressed with the nutrition in IAMS pet food and bought some herself!

the 'Serving Tennis to Schools Scheme'. Sponsored by P V Dobson (a Jaguar Car Dealer in Lakeland).
I am sure 'Tiger Tim' would prefer a different wild cat!
Wild cats are extremely popular with children and adults. You may have noticed Janet Allen Face Painter on the home page as a lion. Many people have asked if Janet paints her own face. Yes she does!

Janet is the face painter below and was very pleased to help BBC Radio Cumbria raise money for Children in Need. She inadvertently parked in the wrong place and got a ticket! Thankfully, Copeland council saw fit to cancel it. Janet is grateful for a letter from Radio Cumbria explaining the
confusion.
